About Markus

Markus is a 2014 graduate of California State University, Chico where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business. Growing up in Live Oak CA, the heart of the Sacramento Valley, Markus comes from a family with long ties in agriculture and real estate, as both his father and grandfather were real estate appraisers and sheep/cattle ranchers. Markus holds licenses as a Certified General Appraiser (CA OREA No. AG3004581) & Real Estate Broker (CA BRE No. 02020460) and so with his knowledge and understanding of the field, has been able to offer a variety of effective solutions to his clients over the years.

As an Certified General Appraisal, Markus has experience in valuing a variety of property types for the purpose of Estates, Partnership Dissolutions, Litigation, Financing and Conservation Easements. To complement his Certified General Appraisal License, Markus obtained his Real Estate Brokers License and has been actively representing sellers and buyers for all property types. 

Property types Markus has experience in valuing and or been involved in selling/buying include commodity processing facilities, permanent planting developments, cattle ranches, wetland/upland habitats, rural residential homesites and single family homesites as well as commercial office, retail and industrial developments. In addition, Markus has assisted with more complex property types such as leased fee estates, leasehold estates, fractional interest and conservation easements.  

Markus currently operates out of our Woodland office and lives in Woodland with his wife and three children.
